What do these terms mean?
- ESSFTA Specialty
- The parent club's (ESSFTA's) flagship annual show for the breed — multi-day, with Sweepstakes and the Futurity.
- Specialty
- A show for English Springer Spaniels only, hosted by a breed club with its own judging and full championship points — whether held on its own, designated at an all-breed show, or concurrent with one.
- Supported Entry
- The club backs the breed entry at another club's show with trophies and prizes — regular breed judging, not a specialty.
- Group Show
- A show for one AKC group — here the Sporting Group — with breed judging plus group placements.
